Aalborg vs Celtic Preview
• Gordon Strachan’s Celtic team lie level on two points with AaB and another defeat on their travels would consign them to fourth place and the section’s wooden spoon. Given there is a six-point gap between this pair and the top two, Manchester United and Villarreal CF, it is almost certain that the best either side can hope for is third place and entry into the UEFA Cup Round of 32.
• A victory for either team would ensure this consolation prize by giving them a three-point advantage over their rivals and a superior head-to-head record going into the final round of fixtures.

Villarreal vs Manchester United Preview
• With both clubs six points clear of Celtic FC and Aalborg BK and almost certain to progress to the last 16, this match offers them the opportunity to not only end any lingering doubts but, moreover, ensure their qualification as group winners.
• A draw would send the pair through while retaining United’s position above Villarreal at the top of the group. Having drawn 0-0 with the Spanish club at Old Trafford, United – whose goal difference is superior – would earn themselves a better head-to-head record too should they record a score draw at El Madrigal.

Torino vs AC Milan Preview
Their 3-2 loss away to Catania last Sunday was a perfect example of what this side is capable of doing, both good and bad. They took the lead after five minutes through Riccardo Colombo, who guided in a cross from Matteo Rubin.
However, their good start was squandered when their defense was carved apart only two minutes later, as Giuseppe Mascara scored to level the affair. Mascara then bettered his first effort with a brilliantly taken free-kick a handful of minutes before halftime that snuck inside the far, lower corner of the goal.

Lecce vs AS Roma Preview
The newly promoted Lecce have made a respectable start to their return to the Italian topflight, after two seasons in Serie B. They currently sit in 15th position in the standings – a position that does not fairly reflect their performances to date.
Despite having won just two of 12 matches thus far, the Giallorossi of Lecce have proved to be tough opponents for most of the sides they have faced, as they have managed to get results against Milan (1-1), Lazio (1-1), Palermo (1-1) and Udinese (2-2) throughout the campaign.

Napoli vs Cagliari Preview
The lacklustre performance at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia last weekend has brought the Neapolitans crashing down to earth. Edy Reja’s troops looked a shadow of the marvellous side that have set Serie A alight so far and the reverse has caused the first tensions inside the dressing room.

Chelsea vs Newcastle Preview
With only goal difference keeping them out of the relegation zone and an on-the-road record of no wins from six games this season, there are plenty of reasons to be gunning for a profitable return from their long trip to London.
